Relax & Travel June 13

Happy Fathers Day - you all can be very proud of your children
From Gayle Bina:

Arriving to the island of Phu Quoc after a long interesting bus ride and quick hydrofoil boat, everyone embraced this beautiful tropical island opportunity to rest and relax. One student mentioned she was having trouble thinking of nothing. Much needed time off to regain energy to move on.

The group is getting along tremendously. Each supporting the others and appreciating the talents and gifts that everyone brings to the team effort of providing compassionate care to everyone that is seen. As faculty we are very proud of this group of students who have truly embraced service and learning.

We said a sad goodbye to Dr Clifton - who had to return to work at Mercer on Monday - good luck with jet lag, Maurice. As we head to Ca Mau today - more rural and possibly more disadvantaged, the challenge will be to still provide compassionate care with less providers. But we do have experience now and a little more confidence.

Thanks for the emails and support.
